I liked the idea of having a book dealing with the difficulty of getting to sleep since many children can relate. I was disappointed to see a badger dressed as a Wampanoag in this book for a Thanksgiving play. The play could have been anything since it wasn't a major part of the story and that wasn't the best choice. Also puzzling is the teacher's use of "Buenas noches" with Carlos when she doesn't use Spanish at any other point. It seemed odd to single him out with the greeting in that way and yet make no other use of Spanish during the class time.
