not sure how to feel about this one. Beautiful descriptions of the mountains. Seemed like the book was really stretched out in order to make it novel length. Very repetitive writing. Every couple pages, Gracie has an argument with her husband about how the sheriff is just doing his job by trying to find evidence against her. Or someone mentions her son's name, and she go through a whole thought process of wishing he was here. Revelation in the last sentence makes no sense. Plus, turns out Gracie is way too forgiving for my taste but, it is what it is
Also, what was up with the tin can pile?
