Just like with the first one, I like this book for what it is - a whole lot of spice! The writing is okay and the plot feels a little disjointed at times. The flow isn’t the greatest during the regular dialogue, but it seems to be a lot better during the spicy scenes. It feels like the author had a really good idea of what the sex scenes should look like, and did a really great job of mapping them out and writing them, but kinda of hastily threw in the rest.
Both MCs were okay. Alex is supposed to be this big hopeless romantic, but I didn’t really see that. I guess it may be hard to be overly romantic at a sex resort so it didn’t bother me too much. Ivy had A LOT of baggage that I wanted her to work through way before she did. I found it hard to believe how quickly she flipped when she got to the resort. One second she’s nervous to even talk to her sister about sex and the next she’s having a threesome. Again, it didn’t really bother me because this series is all about the spice for me.
