It was nice to find a why choose romance that was not a dark romance. The book was good. It wasn't anything amazing. It was just a simple romance.  The FMC is running away from something, and it frustrated me that the MMCs assumed it was for a bad reason. Once you get to that point in the book, it's understandable, but my mind went to 'what if she is running from an abusive partner or from grief.' It was just one of those plot devices where logic is put aside for drama.

I felt like the character's backstories and their motives were fleshed out really nicely. The book was surprisingly funny. The FMC was sassy and had some really funny one-liners. My favorites:

- "How do you know how to get blood out of clothes?”  “I do this really odd thing, where I bleed out of my vagina for a week every month? I don’t know why, it’s weird. Now sit.”

- “I should be sucking the other guys off. Luckily, they’re both pretty tired out, so I’ve got a quick break from shagging their brains out. It’s tough work, being a walking, talking fleshlight.”

- “Why are you so small?”  “I shrank in the wash.”

Solid 3 ⭐️

This book was fun! I really grew to love grumpy Cole and loved his banter with Daisy. Riven was sweet
until the final act
. Eli was a miss for me, I just didn't vibe with him and his energy... maybe I'm a grumpyxsunshine girly after all.

The story was a predictable at times, especially if you have read some other books by the author. She definitely has a formula for her quadrouples and it does work, but can leave you wanting more when you know what to expect.

I will say.. the smut never misses! 😂

Absolutely OBSESSED 😍😍 By far, my favourite Lily Gold book

"But Hanna, she just writes the same book in a different font every time!" Yeah and I eat it up every time

Daisy and her boys had me hooked right from the start and I flew through this book. Especially Cole and Riven are very hesitant to have her stay at first but are still immediately protective over her — they just can't help themselves.

We get a lot more of the (platonic) relationship between the guys in this book and you could tell that they really had history together and cared about each other deeply.

Their relationship progression was really natural and in the end, Cole, too, got over his shit and joined in the fun 😉

Daisy's been through a lot back home and when the guys figure it out, there's some drama but I think it was all understandable given their past relationship and they all made it up to her in the end.

Really can't complain about anything ❤

Its not my favourite Lily Gold novel, that title probably goes to Triple Duty Bodyguards, but it’s a fun romantic read. Who wouldn’t want 3 attractive men falling for her one by one?
