Right. I wanted to love this. Really, really wanted to. The setting is great. The writing is solid. The men were adorable. I'm a fan of the whole 'running away to somewhere new because my life is a hot mess'. I just could not get past the reason why our FMC Daisy ran. Maybe this is just me being naive, but the degree of implosion her life faced just didn't match the instigating event. The volume of stares. The fact no one believed her. Brighton is not that small - I couldn't believe the degree of hassle she was getting (or that it would happen when she went to Sweden as well). I also felt like she should have had some initial hesitation over
getting with the mountain men - she's been burned for her sexuality so recently I expected her to doubt the intentions of the men when they first made a move
. Like I said, maybe this is just me being very naive, but I struggled suspending my disbelief and it got in the way of what was otherwise a really enjoyable read.

I'll happily give this author another go.

This is the first time I have read someone being described as a troll doll, funny!

Most of the characters were lovable but had their own issues. I wasn't a huge fan of Riven,
twice he refused to hear the other side of the story. It almost got Daisy killed.

I wouldn't call it Insta-love, but the FMC fell for them rather quickly. It's already an unconventional way of dating, so when love comes so easily it tends to make it feel undeveloped.

I appreciated how the author gave each MMC a decent amount of time with FMC. Some harem romances tend to focus on one MC and let the others sit in the background for a chunk of it.

There are a lot of errors in the digital format, mostly grammatical errors and repeated phrases.

Its not my favourite Lily Gold novel, that title probably goes to Triple Duty Bodyguards, but it’s a fun romantic read. Who wouldn’t want 3 attractive men falling for her one by one?

I really like Lily's writing style. Faking with Benefits was great and this one is no different, but the one thing I think could improve (which appeared in both books) was the level of grovelling leading to the resolution.

Our FMC Daisy
almost dies because of the actions of one of the MMCs, not to mention all the blame she takes on after her recent SA traumas
. And then it's immediately all forgiven?! Pfft. I understand the need for an HEA, but just a little more fleshing out would move this to a 5⭐️ rating for me.
