I've never done a Why Choose? romance before but this was on sale for $2 and I'm glad I tried it! There is definitely some heavy stuff with all 4 MCs having some trauma that they are dealing with. However, I loved the snowed in aspect, the distinction between all of the MCs, and especially how spicy it was.

Right. I wanted to love this. Really, really wanted to. The setting is great. The writing is solid. The men were adorable. I'm a fan of the whole 'running away to somewhere new because my life is a hot mess'. I just could not get past the reason why our FMC Daisy ran. Maybe this is just me being naive, but the degree of implosion her life faced just didn't match the instigating event. The volume of stares. The fact no one believed her. Brighton is not that small - I couldn't believe the degree of hassle she was getting (or that it would happen when she went to Sweden as well). I also felt like she should have had some initial hesitation over
getting with the mountain men - she's been burned for her sexuality so recently I expected her to doubt the intentions of the men when they first made a move
. Like I said, maybe this is just me being very naive, but I struggled suspending my disbelief and it got in the way of what was otherwise a really enjoyable read.

I'll happily give this author another go.

So this is the most easiest reverse harem I’ve ever read.
The spice is good 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5
The plots are minimal. Just a bit of drama and absolutely not moral struggling with the foursome.
So that’s smooth.
It will not be unforgettable but it was what I need after a really dark reading.
The banter is really good, I laughed several times because the FMC have her fair share with one of the MMC. Her sarcasm is chef’s kiss.

To be fair I wouldn’t have even got that far but I was sick and skimming a lot. It’s just way too ‘okay, now back to the sex’ . Like the plot was getting in the way and the author didn’t want it to so any major issue that was brought up was just instantly forgotten the second it was time to get naked again. Also conversations on heavy topics were brought up at weird times too, like inappropriate and unrealistic times. Almost like the author had forgotten to work them in and went ‘uh… sure! There!’ So… yeah. It’s a shame because there was some okay bones in here of a plot and characters but nothing was fleshed out enough.
 Also,
what kind of horrible friends totally abandoned you just because you supposedly had possession of cocaine? It’s not even like he was accused of selling it to minors. And, while I know a lot of people are stupid, I have a hard time believing that literally no one but the three guys could tell that she wasn’t a porn star or some junk from that video… Also, not to trivialize people who have gone through a trauma like that but is the world really that bereft of news and porn and smart people that everyone cared so much and couldn’t see the truth and she could be in another country and still get recognized? I think this wasn’t researched or thought through enough in the plot. Like most of it.

“Three Swedish Mountain Men” was my first romance containing reverse harem and why choose tropes. I honestly had a good time, the smut is excellent, and I liked the setting. However, the plot was a little flat and foreseeable and I don’t think that I’ll remember much about the novel in a couple of months. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good romance, I just need the plot to be more multilayered and the characters to be more interesting for me to love it.
