- Would have been a solid 3 but I like Malcom and the overall banter between the characters as a whole was lighthearted.

YES! THE BANTER IS BACK I LOVE IT!
Loved all the interactions between Halt and Horace and Will this time round. Can't wait to read the last book!

Slow-paced, a bit of a letdown, and predictable. Would have been better a short story. For long stretches of the book, nothing happens. Not as interesting as other books in the series. No memorable scenes or nuggets that I can think of.
