Some stories seemed to drag on at a slow rate, whereas others kept me on the edge of my seat. Overall, I enjoyed the mysteries and time I had to sit in a rocker and read.

More Holmes goodness. There's a parody in this edition, written by J.M. Barrie, that made me laugh for about ten minutes straight.

The outcome was mostly predictable and I didn't like Holmes's arrogant attitude. However, I did think it was a well thought of plot and liked how it was told.

for some reason I liked this more than vol. 1. there were some stories that weren't great, but others that really stood out. it was more varied.
