The only thing I disliked bout this novel was the pacing, it got a little monotonous in some places so it took me a little longer to get through. The prose was gorgeous though and I’m absolutely in love with the concept of the whole novel being a metaphor.

I didn't mind the slowness, I think it fitted this book. I did hated the way the men thought about women in this, and the rape dream. It was very unethical and not needed imo.

I loved the physiological way of describing the events and the imagination that was needed to write this book.

It's definitely not for everyone.
