What a book! This has been sitting on my TBR shelf since November of last year, and I want to punch myself for not picking it up sooner! After a whole slew of friends saying I have to read this, I've finally picked it up, and man, was I not disappointed.

It's got high smut & sexy scenes but a well-established plot and world-building that hooks you in and doesn't let you go. In my world, that's the best of both worlds! Plus I love Saige's grandma - she's reason enough to keep reading. Laughed out loud quiet a few times while reading.

The FMC!
Saige is wonderful. She's got a nice quirky personality from the aforementioned grandmother! She knows how to joke around and take the punches as they come. Plus, I love we have a positive body lead in this! Her chemistry with the guys is off the charts but has a depth that will build as the series goes along.

The Guys!
Cam, Kai, Fish & Sloane! Best friends and secret agent badass types that work on a team together for crazy missions. They end up in Emerald Lakes for said reasons to investigate a woman and some hinky stuff happening. Decent reason to come to town, but they all have hot chemistry with each other and with Saige! Hot damn, I needed to fan myself at times.

The Smut!
Like I said earlier, this is high intensity and fast burn. Hoo Buddy! Got some good one-on-one dom scenes, m/m scenes, three-some scenes. Honestly, I cannot wait for this harem to build out!

Magical plot with plenty spice!

This book kept me enthralled from beginning to end. If you love magic, prophecies, why choose, hidden heritage, and fast burn, this is a must read! Can’t wait to see what happens in book 2!

I forgot how amazing these books are.
A fun story that builds in complexity with lovable, Funny characters.
I laugh out loud any time I read it and recommend to anyone who will listen (and who will appreciate some spice).

3.5⭐️ sub & Dom content warning

This needs clearer CW.

Otherwise, really enjoyed the story. Had some truly funny moments, very likeable characters for the most parts.

Even the assholes were acceptable. Not my taste, but could recognise otherwise would think differently.

Couldn’t do the sex scenes, seriously not to my taste, especially ‘Daddy’, that just squeaks everything icky in my mind! ‘Master’ also doesn’t work for me, but less disturbed by those who enjoy it.
Was disappointed the FMC was always the submissive, might have gotten a giggle out of the reverse.

Story was engaging enough to simply skip over the awkward, or squeaky parts.
Some bits were too obvious, but others surprising and worked well.

Despite the bits that didn’t work for me, can recommend this.
Will check out book 2.

Unexpected, quirky & spicy

I thoroughly enjoyed this read. The world building and relationship developments are fun and exciting. I'm nervous for so many things that can and probably will happen but dang what a read. Can't wait to see what happens next.
