Another super cute Clue Crew! Nancy and her two best friends are working on a case during their winter break. Madame Chocolata aka Deirdre has set up a tent in her yard and is predicting her classmates futures via hot chocolate and marshmallows. Unfortunately, this tasty treat ends up with hijinks including a missing snowman, in their neighborhood. Nancy, Bess, and George put their heads together to find their missing snowman, Sherlock, and other odd mysteries relating to Deidre's predictions. Readers should expect a really cute story and a fun snowflake activity at the end of the book.
I recommend The Case of the Sneaky Snowman to Nancy Drew fans of all ages.

It's probably as good an introduction to the mystery genre for early-grade kids as most things being published nowadays. It's not interesting at all for an adult, though, and it only vaguely resembles the world of the "classic" Nancy Drew books.
