This was fine for it being my second Jasmine Guillory book.
My review is a pro's and cons list.
Cons:
- The lack of communication.
-The age gap made it below four stars for me.
But despite these , the positives outdid them in Drunk on Love. So here's my list of possitives:
- Sydney being the best friend of Margot. She pushes her to unwind and not stress.
-The relatable and through conflict with the relatives. Like the one Margot has with her brother is realistic.
- The way Luke has to open up with his mom why he's back home.
-Also how he helps out at his mom's Bed and Breakfast .
- How both of the main characters have complicated careers fields they are struggling with. Both from expectations and there racial identity in there fields.
