To start off, the first "classic" Deadpool story in this volume was... weird. Like, trippy "what was that" Deadpool dream weird. It was interesting, but I'm still not sure what was going on there.
After that however, the authors continue their excellent run of Deadpool storytelling. Dark and conflicted but really funny at the same time, I especially enjoyed some of the jokes in this volume - including the extended "Watchmen" reference. The title is admittedly a little misleading in regards to the actual story, but this volume is a fun read nonetheless.

Pretty good for a Deadpool comic. Course Deadpool does get graded on a curve. And yet the writing was good, perhaps even funny. The art good, unfortunately quite a bit of it showed Deadpool uncostumed. I hate to think Deadpool is growing on me, I prefer to believe that the books are just improving. They are still gross and annoying. But now with plot and meaning and humor that is humorous. And stories that might even have endings.

Love Deadpool the movie, not loving Deadpool in the comics. Sacrilege, I know.

Puerile and juvenile isn't my usual cup of tea, but god this was funny. In fact, Deadpool is relentlessly hilarious in the way he refuses to take anything seriously at all. There's some angst too, which may not be quite Deadpooly, but I found it a nice counter-balance to his anarchic side. It seemed to add a poignant dimension to the character. Having said that, I think even without the angst, I really enjoyed the Merc with a mouth.
Also, there are non-Deadpool elements which I loved, like henchmen having conversations and their hilarious and complex relationships. Not to mention a brilliant background gag during an altercation between Deadpool and Crossbones which shouldn't really work in a bunch of static images, but really made me laugh out loud. Absolutely loved this.

Had Phil Coulson's voice perfect. And the Watchmen reference was HILARIOUS. Little unsure about Crossbones as the Rorschach, but it sure ain't gonna be Deadpool.
