maybe I’m just not reading it right, but I felt like this book did too much of the «show, don’t tell» trick. she just said some things and we were expected to understand it. I felt like the book didn’t explain enough going in, at the same time as it gave us way too much exposition. also i didn’t like the style if writing at all. i think this type of writing style works well for ya books, but it felt way too juvenile for a non ya book.
