this book frustrated me too much.
first 10 chapters were painful and awkward to read. the “will they , won’t they” dance was tiring. then i didn’t like how demanding ethan became of grace: “do this/ don’t do that”. i didn’t like how he coddled her and protected her from himself. i respected grace for standing up to him.

This story dragged a bit, but that pace did seem to be appropriate for the nature of the two leads.

It's my favorite duo so far. I loved to see their relationship evolve.

This book made me cry. So far, my favorite character in Chesapeake Bay Saga is Anna Spinelli Quinn. We all want a friend like Anna!
