I love Hera and Kanan so much so of course I had to get this book. I think that it's a really fun romp and I always love a good "Oh, this person is handsome but I'm certainly never going to get overly emotionally attached to them" trope when you know for sure that they do fall in love. It's not my favorite Star Wars novel, but it's fun and I had fun reading.
I do not personally care for Rae Sloane. I know she's big in Star Wars lore and like I get her importance in the Empire and New Order, but I just do not love her and I did not really care that the first half of the book has so much of her in it as opposed to our heroes. Though she's more fun to be with than Vidian was.
