Predictable but very pleasant. Ended with rather a lot unsaid.

A cute book with a typical HEA set against WW2 history. Really lovely easy read

This book is the opposite of problematic, like a soft hug and a warm tea. Loved the writing, loved the story. Selfishly I would like more romance but I loved it anyway.

This was such a sweet and heartwarming story. I loved how it was actually several stories woven into one. Bunty and her past during the Second World War, a community coming together and a cute love story. I was drawn in from the start and I quickly felt like I knew the characters. It was my first time reading a book by this author and it won’t be my last.
