Ahh, how many times did I swoon exactly? I don’t even know but it was a lot because of two words— Zander Ford. That guy! I knew I was gonna love him from book one but I didn’t know how much. I’m a total sucker for best friends-to-lovers stories, especially when the guy falls for the girl first and you watch him patiently wait for her while she obliviously sees him as just a friend. It’s so emotional and heartbreaking yet beyond sweet. Watching Zander patiently wait for Britt since he was fourteen, all the while being the absolute best friend to her, was so, so sweet. I loved him and felt for him and wanted to make Britt see how much he loved her! 🥺
As for Britt, I really liked her too! She’s really fun and I like her spontaneous/ adventurous spirit. Yes,I wanted to shake her a few times so she would stop breaking Zander’s heart and let her independent side rest a little but I liked that about her too, that she wasn't perfect. Her character development was great throughout the book.
Their relationship was so much fun to read about. They’ve known each other since they were fourteen so I loved how they knew each other so well. Their banter and friendship was fun to watch, and their love for each other super sweet. I loved getting snippets from their high school years in notes.

The faith content was great too! The mystery and action was also a nice addition to the story.

So basically, this book made me fall in love with Zander Ford and swoon (and nearly tear up) multiple times over the things he said or things he did. Also, it really made me want chocolate. 😂

So I loved getting Britt and Zander’s story. Now I’m a little sad that I’m finished with this series. I loved getting to know these sisters. Nora, Willow, and Britt were fun characters. I’m so happy they all got their happily ever afters. 🥰💕
