I feel a little bit mean rating it this low (3.75 ⭐️), like it’s subconscious bias against books like this, despite the fact that I read them and enjoy them (to varying degrees). It’s probably partly that I just don’t personally connect/ relate to the characters much- more snippets of scenes/ dialogue, rather than as a whole. But I know that I’ve enjoyed the series, and there are couples that I understand more. And there are little pieces of this book that really strike a chord with me, even if it’s not my favourite.
Dual POV
DDlg
Abusive ex
Belittling parent
Human trafficking (not much page time or detail)
Very protective daddy

It was cheesy but it was cute. I've read her more recent books and I like them more so I have a feeling as the series continues I will like them even more.

in love with Knox

I own these book in paperback and I am only now getting the chance to read it. Let me tell you…. Omg I absolutely loved this book. I read the entire book in 2 days. I just couldn’t put it down. There is a little bit of everything in there. Knox and Addie are definitely meant to be together. After everything that both Addie and Knox went through they needed to find each other the way they did. I can’t wait to read about the next brother.

I got to the scene with bath toys and my mind just dropped out. Nah. Not shaming anyone, but this isn't for me.
