Oh my gay is this book gay and I freaking loved it. I laughed, I cried, I stressed, and overall was widely entertained. Will definitely keep reading books from this author.

Adorably predictable, but a wholesome fantasy palate cleanser with low stakes. I did really enjoy that it was all about what comes after the epic quest, and we only found out about the quest through their jokes and conversations, though I feel like there were a number of loose ends plot-wise.

I stand by my original description of this book when I started it: a chaotic DnD group after the quest, mixed with BBC Merlin, and it's a romcom. And it was FANTASTIC. I really enjoyed this as a fun fantasy read! I usually am not a fan of miscommunication and friends-to-lovers but it was done so well!?! I wish there was more character development and that we got to see things progress a bit more between Matt and Arek - but overall it's just such a fun read!

Very cute! I did cry? But that’s a big ol’ as per in my department. I found it very endearing. I liked most of the humor and it was soothing to read because if it’s predictability (?) instead of tedious (?) does that make sense. I really enjoyed the premise of this being the story after the “story”.
