I found this story a bit confusing at the start--the names were all too similar. But once I figured out who was who and how they were connected (and it was all so very connected) it was fun to watch it unfold and see how everyone was a potential suspect (though I correctly guessed whodunnit very early, and as my friend Erin said it was pretty obvious).

Fantastic story - I honestly had no idea where it was taking me, even to the very last page.

You may have read "Then She was Gone" last year, this is Lisa Jewell's latest book. In a beautiful and colorful neighborhood, the neighbors are all suspicious of each other. The book begins with a murder and then starts the story back in time leading up to the fateful event. Thankfully, the neighbors are always spying on each other so you are able to hear the suspicions of everyone as they play out. Every person has their own issues (and sins) and so it was hard for me to decide who I was rooting for while reading this book. Enjoyable, you might be able to predict it by the end (still enjoyable though). If you are patiently waiting for your next five star thriller read, this may hold you over.
