Where the first book was a character driven story this one had a real and developed plot in a new part of the world. I loved how this book played out and the new characters we got to meet. I wish this series would keep going with Solon and Lenore, they are so fun to read about.

Full writing and too cringy. Also very unhappy with the makeup after the beast… I was expecting a lot more from that other than for him to just ignore her.
