2.5 stars. Regarding this series, there will ever be a tension between what I find fascinating and what I cannot endorse.

Also, I miss Izabel.

As much as I love the previous volumes, I wasn't feeling the wow factor this time round.

The artwork is impressive as always, there are some spectacular gross moments as usual, lots of death going on, but the plot didn't progress much and a particular subplot of Marko's felt out of character imho.

I'll still carry on reading in future even though this is my least favourite volume so far. Still good reading.
