Really didn't care for how this one ended, but I can't deny that I think I'm in love with this author's writing voice. Soothed me like nobody's business.

The entire book is a long thread of suppositions. Oh what if he cheated on me, what if it was with her, what if this, what if that and all the drama that comes out of those thoughts.

But when you get to the ending, you feel like the author wasted your time since all those questions make no sense given that almost everyone knew what happened.

With a sudden death of a father/husband, this book contains a mystery of whether the death was accidental or suspicious. There are multiple characters with their own secrets. Lots of drama and twists and turns, right to the very end. I loved this book, but there was a lot going on with a lot of different perspectives.

I found this book more frustrating than entertaining. No one acts or speaks like a real person. I finished it just to find out who done it and was unsurprisingly disappointed.

This was such a head trip of a book. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's precisely the kind of domestic suspense drama I like, one where you're presented with a certain picture before the layers are carefully peeled back, revealing all the effed up stuff behind the facade. Almost everyone in this book has their own agenda, and they all succeeded at surprising me.

An interesting family drama. I never connected with the characters and figured out the main twists fairly early. That kept it as an average book for me. Not horrible - not great, an entertaining read.
