It took me a bit to get into it, I’d say it begins quite slow. But couldn’t put it down after I was a third of the way in!

I have mixed feelings about this title. So much of it was repetitive and sort of ridiculous - everyone was so suspicious and jaded that it felt like the reader was locked in a room with the most unpleasant group of people. The action didn’t really start until the last quarter of the book, and while I suppose all of that set up was necessary, it still seemed excessive and redundant. The final twist was a bit satisfying, so I appreciated that ending. Perhaps the paper book would have been less wearying than the audiobook, which had a negative feel due to the narrator’s sarcastic tone.
