Oh thank the gods, I am finally done with this book. This story was a complete and utter bomb for me, I cant believe this made it past the editing department.

This was beyond predictable, the amount of effort that was put into just how cold and detached the murderer was was a bit over kill and then some. It was like pulling teeth waiting for Ms. Feehan to finally tie the details together.

My second big complaint was the impractical sex scenes. Um if your jumping someone for the first time, and they are insanely sensitive and insecure in your intentions and you go immediate into the "rough" stuff, more than a few girl's first response wont be 'oh baby' but get the fuck off. Im completely unimpressed by the lack of consideration for what some girls first times can be like and how Ms. Feehan seems to believe that writing how they can all be perfectly fine with rough sex the first time around.

Point number three, as someone with Ling hair, I can say just how fucking impractical it is Bijou has hair that goes down to her butt, and yet, they can have perfect wild sex and not get caught. How she can save Arnaud in muddle water and save him from drowning under a tree but not get caught herself. How she can have a single clip in her hair and not have medusa style hair going on.

Over all this book was drivel and even the overly done sex wasnt even interesting in the end.

Well... That was a book. While it had some lovely high points and some interesting concepts and I love that there was a mystery that almost completely overrode the romantic plot. I enjoyed the banter and the fierceness of the sister and the brothers and the bonds. I was less than enamored of the main couple because the whole thing came across more than a little creepy-stalky. Not Edward-Bella level but definitely not quite healthy and I am glad someone slapped the hero upside the head over his excuses that it was all his leopard's fault. There were also way too many villains and suspects. It went beyond complex and into the realm of ludicrous.

The sex scenes? Started out hot and then moved onto repetitive as they happened more and more.

This was my favorite of the series. They all are easy reads and I have liked several characters more than Remy and Bijou but for some reason this book just comes together on all ends. It really isn't a mystery who the killer is but you will see when you read it.

Remy is dreamy but truly I am a Drake fan. I give this book 3 1/2 stars.

Storyline didn't made sense in certain parts. Was kind of all over the show. The series has been good up until now. Nothing fantastic, and nothing terrible. But this book gave me pause. Time to take a break from it.

Absolutely superb! So many twists and turns that you never knew what would happen next. One of the best books I've read in a long time.

Great book, great mystery, really enjoyed that, though the female's name, Bijou, is very strange, and isn't on the back of the book in the synopsis :(

There are no words for how disappointed I am right now. I also have a new blurb since the one provided is trash (sure it says something about Bijou, but her name is nowhere to be seen). The new and honest blurb: "Drake left for a few day and everything went to hell." That's it. That's all you need to know.
But because I'm pissed that one of my potential best male leads ended up being destroyed, I feel a rant is perfectly excusable.
What I liked:
-Remy pushing for answers about the stalker. I like when someone brings up a serious concern about their safety their partner doesn't dismiss them and instead pushes for more. No let's talk later. No we'll see. Talk now. Resolve now. Later might never come.
-The ending was cute-ish. Bijou going Han Solo on Remy was a nice payback.
-Arnaud. Fucking loved the goddamn psychopath.
-Emma having another kid and Jake freaking out.
-I liked Bijou for the most part, although I think her character deserved more exploration than we got.

What I didn't like:
-I believe that Christine Feehan should stick with writing exclusively romance and kill the urge to add some mystery on top of everything. The story felt disjointed and messy.
-Characters acting OC because of the need to advance the plot and add to the drama.( Drake leaving his PREGNANT wife, Remy leaving Bijou the next morning, the fuck happened to Robert and why)
-The sex scenes. Are you telling me that my boy forgot to drink his respect women juice and basically assaulted Bijou? In what world?
-Remy did not pull off the alpha male thing successfully and ended up being an asshole with some sparkling moments. But an asshole nonetheless.
-The blaming thrown on the leopard side. It seemed that whenever someone tried to not take responsability for their action they just went "my leopard made me do it, it's not my fault"(Remy, Bijou, Robert).
-The communication between Bijou and Remy was trash unless it involved Remy pressing for more info about the stalker. My dude was out there making ambiguous statements and pissing Bijou off with every chance he got.
-Once again the adults in Bijou's life are trash. I guess it makes sense why she's friend with Saria since they both have this in common.
-Bijou needed therapy, not a relationship. Actually, just about everyone in this damn book needed some therapy.

All in all, I've learned my lesson with this author's books. From now on I know that I have to set my expectations low. Peace out.✌

Really wanted to give it a 3 1/2 stars but didn't have the option. The story was a bit slow in the beginning, I was really skipping the parts when the murders were described with every little detail possible. Did not like that at all, and the worst part of the story was who the killer was, I knew right away that he was the one but I didn't wanted him to be the murderer because I really liked his character. I'm still mad about it. The love story was ok, Remy was a very nice hero but Bijou did get a bit on my nerves, I thought she was a weak character. But all and all I enjoyed the story, the chemistry between the characters was really good.
