Wild step up from the previous two volumes. The character dynamics are getting more and more fleshed out as they get more storytime together, the plots are getting less repetitive, and believe it or not its getting a lot funnier. Im the same level as invested in the all of the political intrigue and character drama as I am in the hunt to find out who the hell is throwing pies at people's faces within the prison walls.

This volume was absolutely brilliant. I loved it so much. The art is great, the storyline is genius, the characters are fascinating, and the style is perfection. I just love it so much.

CW: Blood, death, womanizing, madness, language, homophobia, sexual inneundo, racism, mention of pedophilia, mention of prostitution (Yeah, don't read this if you can't deal with high levels of toxic).

Best one so far, as it sheds the growing pains of a new series (CHECK OUT FIRESTORM #22 FOR THE ORIGIN OF THIS CONFLICT - CHECK OUT OUR MOST RECENT CROSSOVER TO KNOW WHO THIS FUCKIN GUY IS) and finally starts paying off set-ups that occurred in this series proper. I really like Waller's navigating DC. The political thriller aspect contrasted with cartoon characters like Shade and Dr. Light is very fun.

I'm kinda surprised at how many of this supervillain team are actually just kinda heroes who "aren't sure where they're at in their lives" -- hell, the only full-on scumbags are Deadshot, Boomerang and Duchess (my faves, of course).

This is getting to be a real fun series!
