3.5/5 rating. Gory and heartbreaking (as I was warned by Kris) but a lot better than previous volumes have been. This part of the story is gonna stick around with me for a while though.

...maybe 3.5 stars. Good story but depressing as fuck. Liked the bonus story!

I didn't like where this story was going, but this Toyland storyline was definitely a highlight!

It was really upsetting, and I debated whether a story that provokes such a strong reaction is deserving of 5 stars. But, I'm a mother now and dark stories about children will always salt an open wound in me, and I can't grant it full accolades

It's been a while since I've enjoyed a Fables arc as much as I did this one, which is saying something. A tale that started out with the Cubs (ughhhhhhhhhh but seriously) and wound up in a dark, twisted, interesting place: winner in my book! Issues 114-121.
