My first book by Lucy Score, and may be my last. All the characters were basically caricatures. I actively disliked the main characters.

I enjoyed the kidnapping plot at the beginning of the novel. That was fun. Perhaps Score's mysteries are better. I kind of enjoyed the romance plot during the last 1/3 of the novel; unfortunately, that's just too late for me. I only through the novel because I decided to speed-read it, and I was so disengaged from it that I had to renew it from the library.

I think Lucy Score just isn't the right author for me.

i don’t like 3rd person books. I prefer points of views rather than everyone grouped together. I probably will finish it at some point but right now i just can’t get into it

The spiciness was great.
The plot itself was OK at best
