There were a handful of really gorgeous reflections and moments in here, but overall I came away feeling thoroughly "meh."

As a book of essays, there's bound to be ups and downs. The vomit fetish one is probably what people will remember most vividly, and yeah okay, it WAS vivid. But it's in the moments, when she is not being "funnily self deprecating" or "quirkily self conscious", when she is just honest and talking about her anxiety, her addictions and her depression in simple ways, those are the moments that are quietly brilliant.

yea, it was okay in the beginning, and then i started to get bored because it was getting a little repetitive. i appreciate the honesty, didn't really like the oversharing. obviously everyone's got their limit on what oversharing is for them...i guess for me it's a vomit fetish.
