From that first moment, where Josie and her mum hug when she returns to town, I was hooked.

I really enjoyed this book! I thinks it well written and flows really well, especially with the dual POV and the time change from the past to the present. I loved how the author alluded to things but built up the story before revealing everything. I would’ve liked a Nick POV to see his side of the story as well.

If second chance, eniemes to lovers stories are your thing then this book is for you! I loved the characters and small town vibes. The chemistry between Josie and Harley was electric, I felt bad for Nick at times but also saw it from Josie’s point of very with the insecurities and feeling unwanted. The book has plenty of spice and romance and also has a focus on family relationships, I really enjoyed SAM and his relationship with his sister and how the author mixed his own story into the book aswell!

The author has built up the world really well in the story you feel the heat with how she describes Fern Grove. I really enjoyed how the book was set in Australia it was a really nice addition to the book.

This is a really good debut romance. Adored it so much. The drama, the chemistry and the storyline had me breezing through the novel in delight. Absolutely enjoyed it!

Meant to Be follows the story of Josie Mayor who returns to her hometown after the aftermath of a tragic event only to get tangled back into the lives of her ex-boyfriend and the guy she had a one-night stand with — a relationship which ended in too many heartbreaks.

Harley was my favorite out of all the characters. It took me some time to get used to Josie but soon, I began to love her too. I loved how the book takes us through the themes of abusive relationships and toxicity in people. The characters were deeply flawed and that made the story even more reparable. I genuinely hated Josie's ex-boyfriend (Nick. We don't talk of Eliot; he's just bad

I really wanted to like this book. The MFC was really unlikable and that made it hard, so much cheating and that’s just not for me. It was awful, outside of Josie… it was good. I was really sick of reading about Harley’s lip ring by the time the book was over.

I was super disappointed with not really liking the book because the paperback is super pretty. I was going to order it after reading it on kindle. I don’t think I’ll do that now.

I did not expect that ending! RIP Brennon, you asshole. And rot in hell Elliot, you piece of shit 😡
I don't and will never condone cheating so it irked me a bit that Josie cheated on poor Nick twice, but some things really are just meant to be...
Turns out bad boy Harley Caldwell was forever material after all

I reallly loved this book, gave me a warm feeling I’m my chest. The spice was bbbeautiful and I love second chances! I really enjoyed the story line and I was so eager to read it. I’m team Harley all the bloody way OMG! I’m drawn to characters like his. I felt Josie was a bit childish at the start but I loved how they were drawn to each other and loved them together overall! Also, fuck Elliot.

I’ve been looking for my next small town romance read and when this came out I knew I found it! I’d been waiting for it’s release!
