Written in an atmospheric way, and this is the main reason for three stars instead of one, but the story was confusing, with lots of 'telling' dialogues that didn't answer or clear up what the story was about, slow-paced and certain scenes were often repeated or told again and again. I didn't understand the end, did Baillie become a Fairy Godmother or was it only another repetition of her 'instructress' story?
