Deal !

The stakes are high in this fifth instalment of the series and that results in lots of fast-paced action scenes that will keep you turning the pages to see what happens next. I really must commend how gorgeously these scenes are illustrated, because they are so dynamic that you can almost see the characters moving through the space.

I also loved getting a little more of Gretchen’s backstory. It helps us understand the motivations behind her actions throughout the series and answers some of the questions we were left with after book four.

Overall a great penultimate book  that made me eager to find out how the series will wrap up.
