This book is so hard to review because it is very well written with intense character development and from a very original angle, but it is also incredibly difficult to read with so many trigger warnings I don’t know where to begin. If I had known what it was about or how it would make me feel, I would not have read it and for that same reason, I cannot recommend it either.

DNF at 46%. Honestly, most of it was just boring because I was expecting a thriller and in my opinion, this isn’t really a thriller. I got tired of the mother being completely ridiculous but certain things felt kind of irresponsibly written

like the daughter saying she would be fine with her brother inappropriately touching him. What the actual f.

This book was almost as good as it could be, considering the main subject matter. However, I could not in good conscious, rate it 4 stars because I strongly disliked how it ended and still have a hard time wrapping my head around why the author chose to end it like that.
