A fantastic book full of philosophical banter no one bothers to do anymore. Though most of the arguments proposed are in many degrees wrong, it is an interesting take into the mind of the author and the characters. As for the actual story, beautiful. The imagery and personification is so capturing it transports the reader to an alternative plane.

Wow I love the classics. Oscar Wilde you will always be famous. This book asks some hard hitting questions and gives some hard hitting answers. I like that this version gives us a real look into Oscar Wildes mind and isn’t censored to fit the times it was published in. Great read

The ending was wild...
SpoilerDid Dorian really think stabbing the painting was gonna work tho?? Like that painting literally has your soul and you said "I'll stab it is so I can have my life back" bruh are you dumb?? Not once did you think "hey maybe this would kill me???"/
Spoiler

I’ll come back to fully review but I really liked the ending despite the racist and sexist undertones
