This was an excellent book. The 3rd act drama was a little forced, but very interesting story.

Admittedly, I've been avoiding WWII historicals because I am tired of the time period, but am trying to get back into the genre.

Enjoyed very much, historical read about black women in the military in a past time.

I enjoyed this historical fiction book about two black women in a black women's army unit during world war two. I am sad that they had to experience some of the prejudices that they did, but I was not surprised. I truly enjoyed the characters and their relationship with each other.

Riveting

Oh gosh if I could give this 10 stars I would absolutely do that. Words can not begin to describe how amazing and powerful this book was. I learned a very pivotal part of history that I was not aware of. Thank you Kaia for so eloquently sharing this part of history with us.
