"Betwixt two theeves I spend my utmost breath,
As he that for some robberie suffereth.
Alas! what have I stollen from you? Death.
Was ever grief like mine?"

Incredibly powerful and moving. I would like to study Christian poetry more!

Some very striking religious poetry including acknowledgement and respect of some non-Christian religions.

In some ways, more powerful than John Donne.
