Another great read by Taylor Rylan. Garic, a vampire and Matteo’s brother is an Enforcer with the Paranormal Council. Luc, a vampire and Laurent’s cousin. Luc did some questionable things while with the New Orleans Coven and because of those actions believes that his beloved wont want him. When Luc scented Garic, he worries that being associated with him will affect Garic’s position with the Council.
I thought Luc and Garic we great together, and their chemistry was off the charts. I loved how their found family had their backs when they needed it. I enjoyed meeting Garic and Matteo’s parents. They’re loving but Garic can only deal with them in small doses lol. I also enjoyed meeting Luc’s brother Knox and I’m hoping that he’ll find his mate now that he’s moved to Timber Valley, and closer to Luc so they can reconnect as brothers.
All I can say is their parents are utter a*seholes and I’m glad that Lucius and Master Ambrosius, the created vampire put them in their place for how they treated their first born sons, basically throwing them away and starting a new family without telling their eldest sons that they have three younger siblings. I’ve already pre-ordered Everett and Benjamin’s books and I’m looking forward to reading them when they’re released. I’d definitely recommend this book, series, universe and author to everyone.
