I forgot how much this one hurts. It is rough. We finally find out what happened to Lana and her brother—it is heartbreaking and difficult to stomach. Makes it easy to cheer on our avenging angel! She is doing the Lord’s work.

One of my favorite scenes is outside Logan’s cabin when she blocks the sheriff! ✋💪👏🫶


🎙️ Still enjoying the audiobooks for my reread. Amazing narration! I wish the pricing was not so outrageous. They should be combined into one audiobook for $18.99 or charge no more than $3.99 for each individually.

 Typical spoiler warning for all previous books in this series 

All the Lies by S. T. Abby is the pinnacle of the Mindf*ck series so far. Fast paced, brutal, haunting. I read this in one sitting despite having to put it down multiple times because I could not process what was happening. Because everything was too much. 

We finally learn in this book what happened to Lana and her brother. How much more brutal it was than I originally thought it would be. Serious SERIOUS content warnings for this one as we get to the memories of that night. I was on Lana’s side before knowing. I’m forever on her side after knowing. Absolutely brutal. 

The truth starts seeping out – of the town and the agents. It is heartbreaking. I almost cried at the ending. It is too much and just right. Everything has led up to this book and I am hoping that the next in the series does right by my girl Lana. She has been put through too much and given away too much of herself. 

All the Lies by S. T. Abby is the best of the series to date. Would I recommend? ABSOLUTELY but go into it knowing there are some ROUGH SA scenes.

The series as a whole is a 1,5 to 2 ⭐️ for me.
I DNFed this series about 30% into book 4.

I am quite sad about it because I really wanted to love it as much as everyone else, and be very invested in it.
However I was not because I personally could not get over the cockiness of Lana with her « I will paint this town red » and so much more of her point of view that made me cringe to the point that I honestly did not care about the story.
I did not enjoy the writing nor was I convinced with the love story…
I do understand where the hype is coming from as it is an interesting and engaging story if you can get passed what I have listed, and I know so many do! It’s not a bad series, it’s just really not for me. I realise that anything fan fiction isn’t at all a type of writing I enjoy, and I really didn’t know that before going into this series as this is apparently inspired by the back story of Rosalie Cullen in twilight, what happened to her and her story of revenge.
There are too many books and series I want to dive into so I don’t feel the need to push myself to finish this series, even though I am abandoning it almost half way through book 4.
