I am so pissed. I had everything planned - I'd finish Ruin today, would leave for the weekend, and then I'd come back to this fantastic series on Monday. Perfect!!! But then that ending happened. What. Was. That?
That was just mean. Ugh. I can't stop now can I?

This had a little bit of everything that I love in fantasy. Many questions were answered, secrets were revealed, and massive battles were fought. There are some absolutely epic moments that pump you right up, and some emotional moments that bring you right back down. While Valor was constantly pushing the pace with action on almost every page, Ruin gives us a little bit of breathing room to take in the emotion that resulted from the consequences of things that play out. I cannot wait to see how this all plays out in Wrath!

Wow wow wow wow wow. Never has a book name been more fitting. I feel bad for the people who had to wait for the next book to release, luckily I have it with me already! The bar keeps getting pushed higher and I can’t give more stars to show it. Well done John Gwynne and thank you.

I haven’t annotated at all for this series until page 449 and onwards. That ending had me crying
