I didn't know too much before I jumped into this book, but I was disappointed. I couldn't really connect with the characters, the writing wasn't great and I just felt bored. I love my MC books and I just found this one on KU when I was looking for something new to read and it just wasn't for me.

Man, I  had flashbacks to Twisted Hate reading this book! It was a thrill ride! There is so much fire in this story! There are a lot of triggers in this book. The women are called old ladies and there is a lot of sexism throughout the story.

I didn’t really feel it with the two main characters but am looking forward to seeing some of the others’ books. I liked the story and think this is a great start to the series.

Blade takes Eve as payment for debts owed by her brother. Eve works a booth at traveling carnival. He keeps her Father in a care facility as long as she obeys him. This was a good book. I really like this author.

This book started an obsession

Blade and Eve are epic, and the Disciples are even better. This is my second read through of this story and I still love it. It’s fun and dirty and Eve is the most brilliant deviant you could ask for, and Blade is her perfect match. Trust me, you want to read this one.

I have mixed feelings about this, but overall I did really enjoy the story. Reading MC romance means there’s some questionable treatment of women in it, but Blade seemed worse than other characters I’ve read. That bothered me, but I could tell he really cared for Eve by the end.
