This was a quick, easy read that I knocked over in an evening. It is certainly not the best book I’ve ever read, but the idea is solid. I feel like we’re just scraping the surface on what Creed and his circle are like halfway through the duet.

This was lots of smut but the premise got me into it and the reviews regarding the ending made me stay. I will be reading the next book bc I actually kinda like them and I want Tempest to deal with his shit. We will see though I’m not entirely sure if I will like the next one..

The thing about Blake is, she is not like any other heroine I've read and the thing about this story, is that it starts going in one direction and then goes in another that you never saw coming. I loved it. The monsters in this story are not really the ones that you think too. Blake seems innocent and sweet but she isn't and she has the backbone to stand up to creatures who are more powerful than her, both physically and metaphysically. The steamy stuff is hot, like really topnotch! These two authors are so good together, we readers are definitely the ones that benefit!
