What would you abandon for happiness?

Ugh, this was beautiful, even though it was a bit confusing at times. I truly love the way Mona breaks up the scenes of this novel with her own narration, with a forward, intermission and afterword.

Her characters are perfectly tragic, each teeming with their own portrayal of heartache, detachment and despair, laced with a whirlwind romance that barely kisses the edges of the story yet somehow defines its very essence.

An artful, tragic and unique tale. A backwards spin similar to what we've seen in Eternal Sunshine. Spun from the raw, lingering emotions of a nightmare. This is a must read!

Absolutely beautiful. The ending leaves you with a great question to consider without feeling like you need more to the story. Will 100% be recommended to all my friends
