Jag ville tycka bättre om den här boken än vad betyget säger. Fascinerande ämne, med hur den största delen av Danmarks judiska befolkning smugglas över Öresund till Sverige 1943, är ett ämne som engagerar och inspirerar storligen. Men här bränner det inte riktigt till för mig.

Heartfelt and suspenseful, this story of two families in Denmark during WWII is told in a matter-of-fact way that makes it feel even more real. Amazing narration by Blair Brown.

Wow. I’ve read quite a bit about the holocaust and didn’t know this story. Amazing, awe inspiring and touching. We should all be like the Danes and the Swedes.
