I love Ali Smith, in this series she writes about everything and nothing, capturing these big societal ideas and arguments and writing poetically about words and storytelling. What does it all mean? Have a think about it. 
People are surreal and we have to go along with them.

i might be stupid…. a lot of this went over my head, and i feel like i should have paid more attention to the fact it’s a technically part of the authors seasonal quartet. maybe i would have enjoyed and understood it more had i read that. beautiful writing though, and there was part i really enjoyed.
