This was one of my favorites when I was a teen. I got it from the library for my daughter to read but instead I finished it in an afternoon.

The story is so important. The characters are so sweet. I want to find little Hope from the story and give her a big hug.

I hope Daphne and Jessica lived out their dream of being a famous author-illustrator team. I like to imagine they did.

Wow. What a powerful book. I don't usually like books where the problem is a lie or secret that gets worse and worse, but everybody should read this book. It can teach several lessons, like the difference between a secret you should keep and one you should tell, and that the nerdiest, least popular, can be wonderful friends.

It's been a while since I've read this book. Seems like I didnt like it when I read it. Can't remember what the book was about though. Guess it didn't make an impression on me.

This has been my favorite book of all time since I was in 4th grade. Now, 6 years later, this book still makes me tear up whenever I read it.

Recommended for fans of teen realistic fiction.

I was substituting and a kid left this book out. I randomly read it and I’m glad I did. It is surprisingly dark for a YA novel.

I remember looking at this cover and thinking about how beautiful Daphne was. This story broke my heart in all the best ways!
