This could have been a 5/5 had it not been for the ending. We were left with a cliffhanger and the reemergence of a character that literally came out of nowhere. I am interested to see where this goes. However, they might have jumped the shark...maybe.

Bloodless was definitely the jumping-the-shark moment for this series. And we continue the shark-jumping joyride in this book as well!
We have at least 3-4 intertwined plot lines in play. And they are mostly interesting. Although Pendargast takes a backseat, we get to spend time with Agent Coldmoon. But without his interaction with Pendargast its not as much fun to read. Still, it was an improvement on the last one.
Lets see how this weird as hell story ends in the next entry!
