Maybe I've become biased because of everything that's come out about Dana but I have read quite a few of her other books and this wasn't necessarily bad.... it was just... boring. The spice was dull... the story line was dull. It felt like one long epilogue.
The others in the series were really good and I literally had this release date noted in my calendar. So this was a disappointment but I guess they can't all be winners.

This was lowkey disappointing. I really enjoyed the first two books and was really excited for this to come out. So excited that I didn't read it until well after the release to prolong my excitement. But reading this, it was just meh. There weren't any stakes in anything they did. I'm perfectly fine with how it all ended, I love a good HEA, but a little stakes doesn't hurt anyone. And it was also stupidly short. Like it started and then it was over.

4.4 stars.
This was ok.
I don’t really have any major complaints.
I would’ve liked a couple things more if they were given enough time to develop…but not enough that the book’s ruined for me.
The sex was hot.
The relationships were sweet and I liked how they developed with Scarlet. They could use some work when it came to the way they developed amongst the guys though.
This just felt like a wrap up book.
Everything came together just a tiny bit too easily and then it was ending.
So. Meh.
It was ok.

We’ve said it before and we will say it again, Scarlet is such a badass! She refuses to take shit from anyone and she will always stand up for herself and her loved ones. We absolutely loved seeing her relationship with all the guys and Motshan flourish. Eliot getting over his issues and learning to share Scarlet with Sebastian and Tristan was honestly the best part.

I’ve read this trilogy at least three times at this point and I love it every single time. The humor, the pacing, the spice, everything. Seb was my reigning champ the whole way through I think. Elliott grew on my like a barnacle but nothing beats Cinnamon Roll Seb. Sorry not sorry. The series wrapped up okay but I WOULD have devoured more had it been written. Sometimes there’s just never enough!

Omens was a very anticlimactic end to a meh series. The entire series has very basic generalized tropes from several different dark romances, and when it does try to do something different, it doesn't pull it off. The FMC is just another bad play off on Harley Quinn (which seems to be a common occurrence with a lot of mafia stories). I don't find her different or special in any way. The guys are all similar styles to a million other guys. We did get some MM crossover action within the reverse harem which was great. And I feel like she tried to get some depth in Elliot with his backstory. But it all just falls short. The spice though with all Dana's books was excellent, but if you took out the MM play, it was all kinda the same shit different story.

I know we all love psychotic men, borderline obsessed with their woman. But I don't think we've thought enough about the potential of the psychotic woman who literally skips off to the kitchen to get coffee before going on a murder spree. The 'murderous, unhinged baby' energy Scarlet exudes is top tier! And her men are whipped, absolutely wrapped tight around her little finger.
And I loved the dynamics - as a group and between each of them individually. It's not often that jealousy is made part of an RH story, but I liked that it was a part of this one. And it required work from all parties to deal with it, instead of just going away on his own. And the evolution of the relationships between the men felt very organic.
It's a perfect mix of sweet and spicy, even if the plot sometimes got a little the route of miracle work. It was also the perfect conclusion to the trilogy!
