Okay, good book and all, but more than everything else he had the financial support he needed, was incredibly lucky and had parents and wife who backed his every move however crazy it was.

Self help books grate on me when done poorly and this book was shouting all, ME, ME , ME, Come see how great I am, and then to say if I can do it, you can too.. well, that's not very reassuring Mr. Branson. And this was more of a biography than motivational, like there were some really good stuff in there like the Japanese fisherman, student magazine and the blue riband but most part of it was completely bizarre.

My friend was given this book by an interviewer who asked him to read this book for the group discussion round. Me being the bookworm was requested to read this and explain to him. Had it been me , in his position, though this was at times fun to read, would have definitely said no, thanks to the interviewer. Discussing Mark Manson's books would be far better than this at this point.

The morals of the story are good but the stories kinda suck cos this guy has had an entitled, lucky life and reality begs to differ.

The shorter version of "Loosing my virginity". Name of the book says by itself. Have to be read.

"Whatever we want to be, whatever we want to do, we can do it. Go ahead, take that first step, just do it"
I think that Sir. Richard Branson got the meaning of life very well, a lot of people may disagree but I think that we all can challenge ourselves to see how far we can go, some may say, he was raised on that, his back ground, his family but these are just excuses, true, it would be uneasy to leave the comfort zone and the fear of the mess change will make may just stop us from taking that very little step, but personnaly, this awesome man gave me something to think about, simple principles yet of great outcome..

1. Just Do It!
2. Have Fun!
3. Be Bold
4. Challenge yourself
5. Stand on your own feet
6. Live the moment
7. Value family and friends
8. Have respect
9. Do some good
