This is perfect for those longing for spooky season! I will definitely be revisiting this closer to Halloween!

The poetry was better than I expected. Much of it light verse but several poems were surprising. Interesting, varied themes with a weaving of dark nature. Enjoyed the differing rhyme schemes. I am glad I finally read it. The copy I have is a scanned version of the volume owned by Frank Utpatel whose artwork appeared on the book jacket cover. That scanned version included both Drake's signed appreciation to Utpatel and his signature. Since the volume is so rare, if anyone is interested there is a digital copy of the typewritten manuscript, with hand corrections, and a note to August Derleth requesting the addition of two poems in place of a longer one, "The Journey of the Queen of Sheba" available on the BYU Library Digital Collections site at https://contentdm.lib.byu.edu/digital/collection/p15999coll24/id/21279/.
